Deidox

We have been big fans of a conference called The Idea Camp since it first started a year ago.  The creator, Charles Lee, has been a great supporter and encourager of Deidox and we had the opportunity to hang with him last week while we were in Orlando for the Exponential Conference.  Below is a little video interview we did with him.

For those of you who do not know, the Idea Camp is an open source hybrid conference designed to help people move from the realm of ideas to implementation.  They gather some of the most innovative and creative leaders from around the country to share ideas, intentionally network, and move collaboratively into idea-making.  Check out more information here.

The next Idea Camp conference will be taking place in Las Vegas, NV September 27-28, 2010.   The focus of the conference is to have a fresh, honest and transformative conversation with leading thinkers on topics including sexual identity, orientation, abuse, gender perceptions, porn, marriage, family, prostitution, and slavery.  Click here for more information on the upcoming conference.

We are super excited to be in Orlando this week at the Exponential Conference.  In case you don’t know about Exponential Conference its all about church planting.  Some of the speakers are Francis Chan, Alan Hirsch, Hugh Halter, Louie Giglio, Mark Batterson and many others.

Our friends from the Idea Camp will be hosting some great workshops. Charles Lee will be doing some live streaming interviews.  They also will be giving away some free Deidox sample DVD’s. So if you are attending the conference, make sure you say “Hi” to Dave.

Tomorrow, Director Brent & Producer Dave, along with Chronicle Project Intern Matt, a favorite filmmaker Justin Dial, and Dan of Portnoy Media Group will be heading out to Irvine, California for The Idea Camp!

With the help of friends and co-workers, Brent, Dave, & Dan will be hosting a session on “How to Tell Your Story Through New Media.”

The Deidox team members are going to be screening a Deidox film in a main session and teaching a seminar called “How to Tell Your Story through New Media – and Save Money” at Idea Camp, February 27th & 28th. Here is an excerpt taken from the site:

We will also discuss successful on-line media tools available to help deliver your story to your audience.
