Yesterday we released Deidox Producer Dave Mahanes’ top 10 favorite documentaries. Now we bring you Director Brent Gudgel’s favorites. He had a hard time coming up with only 10. These are in no particular order.

* Yes, “American High” was a doc tv miniseries (on PBS), but it was hugely influential in awakening me to the power of documentary storytelling.

Nice list. No “Capturing the Friedmans” though?? Glad to see American Teen make the honorable mentions list.
